For all the tech and fancy buttons, a bike is still a bike – an object that tells a story every time you get onboard.
Designed for the city with the ambition of changing global commutes, promoting e-mobility while setting a new wave of cyclists free, we were briefed to uncover the tales of VanMoof riders across the world.
Featuring foragers, dancers, pastry-makers, lake bathers, nurses and piano players – the films peel through the layers of VanMoof’s key cities with different reflections of urban life and how each of them ride.

Shot in Berlin, Paris and London while I was with the brand, we transformed the “30 medium to “60,
creating 12 films in six months with various directors, DOPs, photographers and production companies.
“I’m dreaming of a Paris in
ten or 15 years, a green Paris. I would love to hear the bird song.”
